Pools at the Disney resort hotels have been closed for a couple days, but they should be reopen now.( Blizzard Beach is currently closed for annual refurbishments.) Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon- one of two Disney World water parks) is closed through Saturday, January 6th.These sub-freezing temps have led to some cancellations and closures around the Disney World Resort. ![]() What’s more, there’s a freeze warning until Friday morning meaning that temperatures could feel as cold as the upper 20s! By Sunday, the temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s but with the chance of rain and still some wind chills. It’s not unusual for temperatures to dip into the 40s in the winter in Orlando, but it is unusual to get this cold especially during the day! The highs over the next couple days may be in the 50s, but the lows are in the 30s with wind chills several degrees colder than that.
